The rules, with live numbers
How Kartel pays.
A kart battle arena. Up to sixteen karts, three minutes, boxes full of weapons. Most kills when the clock runs out wins, and the top three split that match's prize from the coin's creator fees, sent in SOL to the address they pasted. No wallet connect, no deposit.

The game
- MatchesUp to sixteen karts, 3:00 on the clock. You drop into a match the moment you press PLAY; when the clock runs out the results show for a few seconds and the next match starts on the next arena: Castle Courtyard, Desert Canyon, Neon Rooftop.
- DrivingW, A, S, D or the arrows; on a phone, the stick. Turn hard at speed and the kart slides. Ramps and jump pads throw you, boost pads shove you, the edges of a map drop you.
- Boxes and weaponsDrive through a glowing box: it spins for a second and lands on a weapon. One at a time, used with Space. The machine gun finds the nearest kart in front and chews through it up close; rockets fly straight, three of them, two hits wreck a kart; the triple gun fires nine rounds; the cannon lobs four balls (hold Space to throw farther); mines drop behind you; the nuke is slow and wrecks whatever it touches and whoever is next to it; the sticky bomb sticks where it lands and goes off when somebody comes near; the decoy box looks like a box and is not; the spike ring and the star wreck any kart you touch, and nothing hurts you under a star.
- Wrecks and pointsEvery kart has 100 health. A wreck is a point for whoever did it; you are back three seconds later, shielded for a moment. A fall off the map costs you a point and gives nobody one.
- The placesMost kills wins. On a tie: fewer deaths, then whoever reached the score first.
- House kartsA match with few players is filled to 8 karts by house karts. They drive by the same rules through the same inputs, miss, and never receive anything: a place one of them takes goes back to the pot.
The money
- The poolThe creator fees of Kartel's own trades fill one pool: 2% of them buys $KARTEL on the market and burns it, the rest is the pool, all of it for the players. Fees are counted per trade, once each, so another coin of the same creator never feeds this pool.
- The potPrizes are paid from the pot. 30% of the fees go into it at once; the rest waits in the reserve and flows in at 25% of itself per hour; the pot never holds more than 30% of the pool. Busy hours make every prize smaller until the pot has filled up again: no more than the pot can ever leave.
- A match's prizeAt GO, 12% of the pot is set aside for that match, times the players in it (house karts do not count) over 4 (more players, up to 4, a bigger prize). One player per network counts. Players who drop in during the first 30 seconds raise it to what it would have been with them at GO.
- The splitThe top three by kills split the prize: 50, 30, 20 %. A place needs at least one kill. The end of the clock is the cash-out: the three shares are queued for their addresses at once.
- What goes backA place taken by a house kart, by a player with no address, or by an address already paid in that match goes back to the pot. Private rooms are free play: no prize.
- Small amountsA place worth less than 0.0007 SOL is kept for you and leaves with your next prize. One transfer is never more than 0.5 SOL.
- Guest or accountPlay as a guest with a name and an address, or make an account (a name and a password) to keep your name, address and record on any device.
